EXCURSIONS TERMS AND CONDITIONS DOCUMENTS
1. DEFINITIONS
Agreement-this agreement between (company) Trevecom (PTY) LTD tour operator and (clients) parents varies from time to time.
The terms outlined in this document are subject to change based on mutual consent and the evolving nature of our services. By engaging with Trevecom (PTY) LTD, clients acknowledge their understanding and acceptance of any modifications made to the agreement.
Both parties agree to communicate openly and promptly regarding any necessary adjustments to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience. This agreement also includes provisions for cancellations, refunds, and any other contingencies that may arise during the course of the service.
Trevecom (PTY) LTD is committed to providing the highest standard of service and ensuring that all clients have a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience. Clients are encouraged to review the terms regularly and contact Trevecom (PTY) LTD with any questions or concerns.
This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between Trevecom (PTY) LTD and its clients and supersedes all prior discussions, agreements, or understandings of any kind.
2. PAYMENT PLAN
the payments start on the given time for the trip and end on the indicated time but you you are not restricted to the provided payment plan, you are allowed to request for payment arrangements that will suit you but terms and conditions still applies

Parent payments- paid to the participating schools if your child is attending that school or are made direct to Trevecom banking account with a provided reference number
Payments ensure that all necessary fees and expenses related to your child's excursion are covered promptly and efficiently. For ease of tracking and confirmation, it is important to include the provided reference number with each transaction. This helps in correctly attributing the payment to your specific account and avoids any potential delays or confusion.

3. CANCELLATION
Voluntary cancellations are non-refundable, and failure to complete payment for the itinerary will result in forfeiture of the payment.
Paid installments are non refundable unless it's an event of unseen circumstances such as death, hospitalization and loss of a parent or guardian.
In such cases, appropriate documentation must be provided to process any potential refunds. We understand that these situations are deeply personal and challenging, and our team is committed to handling each case with the utmost sensitivity and care. The client will receive a full refund if the company cancels the excursion.
4. BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE
The client recognizes the varying baggage weight allowances among airlines, notes that extra weight for sporting equipment may not be permitted, understands that baggage allowances generally cannot be shared among group members, and is aware of excess luggage fees. To avoid confusion due to ambiguous airline baggage rules, the client agrees to verify the specific baggage allowance regulations directly with the airlines shortly before their departure. The Company does not take responsibility for any costs related to excess baggage.
For all domestic travels we give per person 23kg check-in luggage and 7kg carry-on luggage according to domestic allowance.
5. FLIGHT DELAYS
The company will not be responsible for any expenses or other outcomes resulting from flight delays
6. TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance cover for domestic travel is not mandatory and can be acquired by parents if needed. There's public liability cover of transportation, attraction places and the company public liability cover for the excursion.
7. INDEMNITY
No child will be permitted to attend the excursion without a signed indemnity form provided by a parent or guardian.
The safety of our students is our utmost priority, and this measure ensures that all necessary precautions are taken. We understand that excursions are a valuable part of the educational experience, providing opportunities for learning outside the classroom, fostering independence, and creating lasting memories.
To facilitate this process, please ensure that the indemnity form is completed and returned by the specified deadline. We provide information about services we provide either reserved or purchased on Trevecom to the service providers whose will fulfill your reservation. Although Trevecom offers services in tutoring, events, leisure travel from hotel, airline, shops and other merchants, we have not placed limitations on these service providers from using or disclosing your information without your permission. Therefore, we encourage you to review the information privacy practices of any service providers whose products or services you purchase on Trevecom. In addition, these service providers may also contact you as necessary to obtain additional information about your confirmed reservation.
When we make bookings- travel, accommodation, airfares, cruises, meals, entertainment, activities, transfers, facilities or services, etc (“Service providers”) we are acting as a booking agent for the service providers. All services, travel, accommodation, airfares, cruises, transfers, meals, entertainment, activities or services etc., are supplied directly to you by the Service provider. We have no control over the facilities or services themselves, or the manner in which they are provided by the Service provider. Therefore, you should be aware of the following conditions:
Trevecom obligation is to make bookings and to arrange relevant contracts directly between you and the Service provider, for any misconduct such as damaging property or not abiding by the laws of the property or state. Payment default including refundable deposit upon check-out and tourists levies may lead to effective immediately fine, also legal actions taken against you depending on the offense and circumstances.
Trevecom will not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind (including without limitation, any loss suffered as a result of death, injury, and/or illness) that may arise from your use or consumption of, or inability to use or consume, various Service provider facilities or services. We have no responsibility for these services nor do we make or give any warranty of representation regarding their standard. Your legal recourse is against the specific Service provider and not Trevecom.The provision of facilities or services is subject to the terms and conditions and limitations of liability imposed by your contract direct with each Service provider. Trevecom will not be held responsible or liable for any costs incurred as a result of decisions made without prior approval from Trevecom. Under circumstances where liability cannot be excluded, such liability is limited to the value of the purchased service arrangements made through Trevecom.
All facilities or services described by us are subject to availability from the Service provider. Where for any reason, a Service provider is unable to provide particular facilities or services, then that Service provider may be entitled, under its contract with you to substitute those services or facilities with comparable or equivalent facilities or services without incurring any liability to you. You should check your contract with each Service provider.
Trevecom will not be liable or responsible for any loss or damage relating to your baggage, personal possessions, health or welfare, or delays or travel disruptions, etc.
Should you be purchasing a cruise, please refer to the additional cruise line documentation which will contain special and additional terms and conditions supplied by the respective Cruise Line we are booking on your behalf. These additional terms and conditions which include but are not limited to, payment requirements, amendments, and cancellations, etc., and are generally available on the Cruise Line’s website. If you are unsure, or would like us to provide this additional information, please do not hesitate to discuss this and any questions you may have with your Travel Specialist.
We strongly recommend traveler/s take out a comprehensive travel insurance policy which will, under certain circumstances and subject to the policy conditions, cover such things as cancellation fees, baggage, personal liability and accident and medical cover. It is strongly recommended that insurance be purchased and paid for with deposit payments. Trevecom is not responsible for a client’s failure to purchase Travel Insurance or for being inadequately covered. Trevecom is pleased to be able to offer very competitive Travel Insurance, so please contact us today for a quote!
All travelers should be aware of any health or visa requirements for the countries that they are traveling to. It is the responsibility of all members of the traveling party to obtain a valid passport and any necessary visas and vaccination documents for your international holiday. Any fines, penalties, payments, or expenditure incurred as a result of such documents not meeting requirements will be your responsibility as Trevecom will not be responsible for any loss or expense due to your failure to obtain any necessary travel documents.
Please ensure that you have a minimum of 6 months validity left in your passport upon your planned departure from the foreign country, as most immigration/international borders insist this as a pre-requisite before entry into their country will be permitted.
A visa may be required for entry at your destination, or for re-entry back to South Africa. Please contact your relevant embassy or your Travel Specialist immediately should you fall into this category and require assistance or further information
Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, Trevecom may be required by law to disclose information you have provided in obtaining our products or services. Trevecom may also disclose information against someone who poses a threat to Trevecom interests (such as customer fraud), misconduct or whose activities could bring harm to others.
This Legal Notice shall be governed by and construed in accordance with country laws. Any dispute(s) arising in connection with this Legal Notice are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African laws.
Trevecom reserves the right to revise any of these terms at any time without notice.
